Dipl.-Ing. Martin Großöhmichen, M.Sc.
Martin Großöhmichen studied Mechanical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) at the University of Kassel and Biomedical Engineering (M.Sc.) at the University of Hannover. Since 2012 he is working as a research engineer and Ph.D. student in the group “Implantable Middle Ear Hearing Devices” of Prof. Maier. He is doing experimental research on the efficiency of active middle ear implants (e.g. MET®) and direct acoustic cochlear implants (Codacs™) in different stimulation conditions. Furthermore M. Großöhmichen is investigating methods measuring intracochlear pressures in temporal bone experiments.
